To mark America’s 250 years of independence, we’re launching a dedicated space on YouTube to celebrate the country across three pillars: American History, Innovation, and Beauty.
Starting today, you can search for topics related to America 250 in the U.S. and discover featured content on a dedicated shelf from partners like PBS, the Smithsonian, NASA, and YouTube creators — right at the top of your search results.
Some of the content might take you back in time – from reenactments of the Revolutionary War and Neil Armstrong’s first steps on the moon, to the Wright Brothers’ inaugural flight and the electric energy of the Harlem Renaissance. You can also experience America’s beauty through videos of its national parks, scenic coastlines, and stunning landscapes.
Beyond search, you can also join in on the celebration with a special playlist on YouTube Kids. Plus, keep an eye out for an upcoming custom Artemis II YouTube logo (called the “Yoodle”) honoring the astronomy community.
