YouTube creators contributed £2.8 billion in GDP to the UK economy — a 25% year-on-year increase.
Representing millions of highly engaged viewers, these creators actively shape public discourse, drive cultural trends and inform the daily lives of many in the UK and around the world. The formation of Creator Voices directly addresses a key finding from YouTube’s 2025 Creator Consultation, which revealed that 43% of digital creators feel their contributions are not yet recognised by the broader creative sector. The high-growth media ventures behind Creator Voices shape culture and public discourse every day. By uniting digital storytellers, the collective secures their decisive seat in the creative industries, raising the benchmark for British creativity and powering the next generation of cultural leadership.
