Mental Health Day of Action: Take the first step toward better mental health

We’re joining in the first-ever Mental Health Day of Action to encourage everyone to take care of our mental health the same way we take care of our physical health.

There is no doubt that COVID-19 has impacted our mental health in addition to our physical health.

Last month in the U.S. we saw spikes in fatigue-related Google searches, and the question “why do I feel bad?” reached a record high. There’s a collective feeling of exhaustion, and we’re all looking for ways to cope with it.

That’s why we’re joining in the first-ever Mental Health Day of Action to encourage everyone to take care of our mental health the same way we take care of our physical health. Today, we are coming together with our creator community to help motivate each of us to take an action to improve our own mental health, as well as for our loved ones and our communities.

Sometimes the first step on our mental health journey is the hardest one to take. To help you know where to start, creators like Kati Morton, Ask Dr. Jess, The Psych Show, Vogue, and MedCircle are providing their guidance this Mental Health Day of Action on everything from how to find a therapist to managing anxiety to how to support a loved one’s mental health.

Embracing your own mental health and supporting the mental wellbeing of others looks different for everyone. Check out our full playlist to find the action that is right for you.
