As someone lucky enough to attend Coachella in person on behalf of my role at YouTube, I also try to squeeze in a few sets throughout the weekend, mentally bookmarking every performance I couldn’t wait to rewatch. The truth is: even when you’re there, there is no way to catch every special minute.
So if you’re gearing up for the weekend two livestream — or just want to relive the moment— here are a few of my faves that are absolutely worth pressing play on.
Sabrina didn’t just headline — she performed an epic. The choreography was sharp, the sets were next level, and the crowd was fully locked in. I love how set design and cinematography played such a unique role to her show.
KAROL G was my biggest wow of the weekend. From the choreography (by none other than Parris Goebel), to the scale, and cultural significance, I was truly moved by her performance. The message she shared at the end of her set brought me to tears, and I felt very honored to witness the first Latin female headliner in Coachella history. An absolute rewatch.
I grew up with Justin Bieber, and felt so proud to witness this moment for him as an artist, in what felt like a true celebration of his catalog. His headline set sent a ripple through the entire festival grounds. Watching it back, you get to see and understand how dialed in he was and how incredible he sounded.
The xx reminded everyone how powerful an intimate set can feel at a festival. I am a huge fan of each of the individual band members, and seeing them reunited at Coachella during sunset was pure magic.
This is a must-watch set. I used to work in the UK and discovered Little Simz at Glastonbury a few years ago, so seeing her again at Coachella this year was a real treat. Her presence is a force, her lyrics and visuals are the perfect compliment.
You never quite know what a Young Thug set is going to look like, and that’s part of the appeal. The energy of the crowd was insane and what I least expected was a guest appearance from the one and only Camila Cabello. I forgot how many Young Thug songs I know and love.
Major Lazer felt like the entire field was jumping in sync — and felt SO nostalgic to me. Watching it back, you actually see how tightly constructed the set is beneath it all.
Laufey’s set was one of the quietest — and that’s a compliment. The kind of quiet where people are genuinely listening. It created this pocket of calm in an otherwise high-energy weekend. I enjoyed the moment of stillness in the grass, totally captivated by her presence on stage.
I’ve wanted to see Davido for years. His energy felt massive in person and somehow even bigger on screen. The crowd response, the stage presence, the pacing — it all clicked and had everyone grooving at the Gobi Stage.
Even being there, I walked away with a list of sets I needed to revisit. That’s the beauty of on demand video, the Coachella TV station, and a second weekend of Coachella ahead of us (in person and at home).
So enjoy some of the on demand performances from weekend 1 and set your reminders for the weekend 2 Coachella livestream starting this Friday at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET.
