Round of applause! The drag community dazzles on YouTube.

From jaw-dropping performances to beautiful artistry, drag creators on YouTube have taken center stage to share their craft in front of a global audience.

Last year, there were more than 2 billion views of videos related to the topics, drag queens and drag kings.

Drag is all about playing with personal self expression using over-the-top looks to bring forth larger than life performances. Once an art form experienced exclusively through live productions, drag creators have expanded their reach by bringing their talents to YouTube.

As the global, online community of drag grew over the years, these creators pushed the cultural boundaries of their craft, establishing personal brands and taking their art form in new directions, with beauty tutorials, podcasts, original music videos, and more. Last year, there were more than 2 billion views of videos related to the topics, drag queens and drag kings.

In celebration of this vibrant community, we’ve transformed the YouTube logo (also known as a Yoodle) and created a video exploring the rich history of drag content, hosted by the fabulous Trixie Mattel and Juno Birch.
