Back in March, Susan Wojcicki chatted with Prajakta Koli (known as MostlySane to all of her fans) about activism, body positivity, and the importance of mentorship. The occasion for the conversation was the launch of the Google.org Impact Challenge for Women and Girls, which has now given a total of $25 million to 34 organizations the world that are creating economic opportunities for women and girls everywhere.
Now Prajakta is the one asking the questions. As a part of her #RealTalkTuesday series, Prajakta will interview 5 women from the organizations that have received funding from the Impact Challenge for Women and Girls. The interview series launches with a conversation between Prajakta and Zarah Bruhn, the founder of Socialbee, an organization that connects refugee women with job opportunities.
In upcoming conversations, Prajakta chats with the CEO of a nonprofit that teaches Black and transgender women how to code, a girl who learned about financial literacy through a program in New York City, and more. These stories are “extremely inspirational, relatable, and real,” she says. Check out the first episode today, and stay tuned for more stories over the next few weeks.
