Beyond the 30 days of Pride Month, the LGBTQ+ Creators on YouTube inspire, inform and support users all year round. We are committed to fostering a space where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered to be their authentic selves. In that effort, we are awestruck by the creativity, thoughtfulness and vulnerability LGBTQ+ Creators express in the stories they share with the world. That is why this month we are turning up the volume of LGBTQ+ voices of Creators.
A month-long extravaganza of self-expression, reflection and pure fabulousness will be showcased at YouTube's spotlight channel. You’ll discover superb queer Creators like gamer heyKipp (331K subscribers), beauty creator GlamFam Hair & Beauty(753K subscribers) and vlogger Delaney Walsh (1.2M subscribers) and more across the topics of art, food, lifestyle and tech.
Buying from queer-owned businesses is a tangible action that fuels Creators and their missions. (and we’re not just talking rainbow-only emblazoned merch, though who doesn’t like a 🌈👕?). Check out Larray (9.3M) for a new fragrance that hits, Manny MUA (4.8M) for beauty products to serve fresh looks and get the right fit for staying fit with The Fitness Marshall (6.3M).
And if you’re all tuckered out from Pride Festivities, sit back and stream from a curated list of shows and movies directed, written, and starring LGBTQ+ self identified individuals on YouTube TV!
Follow along on Instagram, TikTok, and Shorts to see a wide range of Pride content that will keep you engaged all month long featuring creators like MeetTheMazelins and Chikn Nuggit that will celebrate Pride by speaking authentically to the moment. @YouTubeCreators will be featuring LGBTQ+ creators the whole month and having creators share their admiration for the figures that have influenced, inspired and mentored them from the community.
Just like our Creators, YouTube also wants to express their joy for the LGBTQ+ community. Be sure to check out the YouTube logo in your app on June 11 for a special takeover reflecting an incredibly artistic and influential YouTube community.
