Grand Theft Auto VI trailer launch sets new 24-hour record on YouTube

Starting with one of the earliest Grand Theft Auto videos uploaded to YouTube.

Then, of course, the endless play throughs that never get old, with videos created by some of the OG 's of YouTube, including PewDiePie, Markiplier, and Jacksepticeye… and Creators from all over the world, including Techno Gamerz.

And our Creators have found new and exciting ways to explore the game’s living spaces. Roleplay communities in GTAV have been creating entire worlds and storylines with all kinds of twists. Creators are playing as cops, hitmen and business owners, and some are even developing entire fictions complete with worldbuilding and intrigue. Who would’ve thought GTAV would inspire lifestyle dramas à la Gossip Girl or original reality show content?

Beyond the risk, reward, action and drama of the roleplay community lives an almost… wholesome world within GTA. Enter: GTAOnline car meets, where GTAOnline Players meet up in empty lots across GTA V Online and showcase their designs with other custom car lovers. Some even include awards or drag races! These meets are a great place for socializing, information sharing and welcoming newcomers into the community.

Of course, we can’t skip the world of IRL content based on the game. Inspired by Los Santos, Vice City, Las Venturas and more, our Creators have taken the rich, incredible environments built in-game and brought them to the real world. This content is fun… but also emphasizes the painstaking artistry and detail that makes the games so unique.
